Stampin'Up! Incentive Trip ... part 3

Today is my last post showcasing the Thailand Incentive Trip. Tomorrow I'll share the make and takes we made using items from the new Holiday Catalog.

On day 4 of the trip, we had signed up for a cooking class. We left with the group in the morning and headed over to the Blue Elephant Cooking School and Restaurant. From there, we walked over to a local market then they bought us sugarcane drinks on the walk back. The cooking school was great and we made most of 4 dishes, then ate them at the end. Unfortunately, Samantha got sick about 1/2 way through and we had to take a taxi home early. I managed to eat my shrimp though and it was delicious. Once again, the cab driver was great and made two stops on the way back to the hotel for Gatorade and some medicine. She started feeling better, so she rested while I made my make and takes and went to some demonstrations. We ordered room service, watched a little tv and went to bed early.

After watching how to make each dish, they gave us a small sample to taste, then we went to the outdoor kitchen and made it ourselves.

Look at this masterpiece!!!

There was a hospitality room that we visited each day. Lots of great snacks and drinks and you played a game each day to earn a free prize (embellishments and DSP).

On Friday, we went on a cultural tour of the island to see some of the sights. We had a great tour guide who told about the history of the island and lots of interesting facts about the Buddhist monks.

The final event was Friday night at the Blue Elephant, so we headed back there. They had a huge tent set up with food stations and local crafters around the perimeter. A band, performers and elephants completed the set up. I was amazed at how beautiful and lavish it all was. The food was fabulous. This is what greeted us when we walked off the bus.

These lovely drinks were waiting for us on the way to our seats.

Everyone also received one of those beautiful flower bracelets to wear fort he evening.

Another quick photo with Monica..

This is Stevie. We met her and her mom on the trip. They're from Australia and apparently, Samantha looks a lot like her older sister.

It was the trip of a lifetime! Hoping I make the next one, wish me luck!

Our flight left very late Saturday night, so after checking out of the hotel at 11:00am, we took a taxi back down to do some more shopping, have lunch, then back for drinks and another massage. Nice relaxing day and a good time was had by all. Thank you again to my wonderful customers and awesome team. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
