Christmas in August...part 1

Today starts a 4 part series featuring our annual Christmas in August event! We had a fabulous time with 35 people attending, great food, swaps, door prizes, holiday projects and a BOGO sale. Everyone was able to shop the retired products and then get new items from the Holiday Catalog for free! I'll show some photos each day, ending on Saturday. I hope you enjoy!

This table looks like it's having too much fun! L to R: Deanna, Sherry, Jenny and Kerry

Kathy, Mary, Sharon and Pam were speeding along with their gift card holder.

Stampin'Up! graciously donated stamping supplies and I added some as well. We auctioned off two boxes filled with supplies for Ronald McDonald House Charities in Little Rock. We'll be donating over $200, cards and laundry detergent.

Laura and Sue were are two raffle winners. Everyone else who purchased a ticket also got a conciliation prize.

This was a favorite project during the day. Everyone received a pack of Be Merry DSP, so they had some of the supplies to go home and make this card. Great use of our Circles Collection and Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. We used the new Watercolor Christmas stamp set (which coordinates with the Watercolor Christmas Project Kit).

This cute bag was made with a piece of the 6" x 6" Quilted Christmas DSP stack and a Stitched Felt Embellishment. We added a little Quilted Christmas Ribbon, a tag from the Cheers to the Year stamp set and some chocolate Kisses.

Here's a side view. The bottom of the box is a square then goes together like a treat bag at the top.

You can view and purchase the supplies for these projects here at my online store.
