Merry Monday Carols of Christmas...

I have two versions of the same card to share today. This first one was a card we made at the Christmas in August event and the second was me just playing around with some Night of Navy ink and sponging and dong a watercolor wash. It didn't turn out like I thought it would in my head, but thought I'd share it anyway. I heat embossed the words with Silver Powder and used the gorgeous Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper. Silver 1/8" Ribbon and some Rhinestones added just a little more bling. The first one used Basic Gray card stock for the base and mat.

Same supplies on this one except I used Night of Navy ink and card stock for the base and mat.

This just goes to show that you need to play around with a set for a while before you find something you like. Sometimes you get it on the first try, and sometimes you get to experiment and it's not too bad.

Thanks for stopping in!
