Magical Mermaid & Kathleen's Paintings...

Today's card is one I made for my daughter Kim's birthday. She loves mermaids so I bought this set just for that purpose. It's a perfect set for a girl's birthday or just for fun. And yes, we'll be using it at Stamporee! Not this particular card, but another one that's just as fun. I used watercolor paper for the base to create the undersea effect. My friend and fellow stamper, Kathleen Williams, sent me her artwork for the months of November and December so I wanted to share them with you. I think she has a couple more in her series, then I'll have a special post to show the whole collection. Can't wait! Kathleen hand draws each image (and she sends out a lot), then watercolors them with our ink refills. I look forward to these each month!
