Cats? One is never enough....
Although the Spooky Cat stamp set is retired, the coordinating Cat Punch is still available in our carry over section. I'm hoping it makes it into the new catalog with a fun new stamp set to go with it. Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe a dog punch too? Who knows? One can always wish. Anyway, this past fall, I had a class where we made projects using the stamp set and punch that were not Halloween cards. So here's what we made.
This first card uses some of the images in the set to create a Harry Potter themed card (you fans know what I'm talking about). I used the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die and the little retired balloon punch. My favorite part of this class was coming up with all the fun sayings for the cards.
The inside originally said, "friends don't let friends wine alone" from the Mixed Drinks stamp set. I colored the stamps with markers and substituted "wine" with "party" from the Tabs for Everything stamp set.
The next card is a cat lover wedding card. "congrats" is from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set. The bow on the black cat is from the Cookie Cutter Punch.
The inside verse is too funny! "You are" and "together" are from the Sunshine Sayings set as well, then the rest was stamped with the Labeler Alphabet set.
This was the funniest one. The front words are from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.
The inside uses words from the Sprinkles of life set, but instead of "cupcakes", I substituted "CATS" with the Labeler Alphabet set. Ha!
This was a sweet sympathy card. The inside said, "for the loss of your furry friend". The paper is from the Delightful Daisy pack. Words are from the Sorry For Everything stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed these fun cards. Can you come up with something different using the cat punch?
