A Masculine Valentine's Day...

Valentine's Day doesn't have to be all pink and red and sparkly, we can do something a little more masculine for the men in our lives. I still like the hearts though (wink, wink). This card was made with the Sure Do Love You bundle and coordinating dies, but I paired them with our Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, Burlap Ribbon and new True Gentleman Buttons. A little sponging around all the edges gives the card a vintage feel. The designer paper comes in a 6" x 6" sheet, so after cutting the card layer, I took the rest of the sheet and adhered it to the envelope flap for a fun look.

After I cut the heart out of the card, I thought, "What can I do with this heart?" So I decided to make a tag - I love tags!!! I used all the same colors from the card, so this can tie on a gift for my hubby when I give him his card. I used one of the adorable heart dies in the set to cut the cute little Cherry Cobbler heart and popped it up on the tag. I used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch to make the top of the tag and tied in a piece of Linen Thread. Sooooo quick and easy!
