Cake Soiree...

What better way to celebrate, than with cake! Cake Soiree that is! The Sweet Soiree Suite (our vocabulary word for the day is homonym) is a gorgeous, elegant suite of products that go perfectly together, but work with other products as well. My project today uses some of the items in the set, along with another designer series paper for a fun birthday card. This suite of products can be found on pages 10 through 13 in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.

I used Peek-a-boo Peach, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White card stock and the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack. I colored the rhinestones with my Calypso Coral Blends Marker then heat embossed with words from the Cake Soiree stamp set with White Embossing Powder. Of course, the focal point of the card is the cake which was stamped with Peek-a-boo Peach ink then die cut. The bow was also die cut with the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies. My favorite part of this card? The little polka dots. I used some of the new Shimmery White Embossing Paste, mixed it with a little Calypso Coral ink (so it would be darker than the cake), the applied it using the Sweet Soiree Decorative Masks. So cute!
