Stamping layers of images and color

Today's tutorial shows to to use masking to stamp layers of images and then color them to show depth. This can be done with lots of different stamps, so think of something you have that would look nice in a pile.

Here are the 3 cards I shared today with measurements and supplies:

This first card features the Seaside Notions stamp set #149278. I used StazOn ink for the stamping, then Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Terracotta Tile for coloring. The card base is Petal Pink and cut at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", the Basic Black layer is 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" and the Watercolor Paper is 5" x 3-3/4". I used the Timeless Label and Label Me Fancy Punches and some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon colored with a Basic Black Dark Blend.

This next card features the Rooted In Nature stamp set #146482. I stamped the images with Black StazOn ink. I used Soft Seafoam, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for water coloring. The Pear Pizzazz card base is 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", the Soft Seafoam layer is 5-1/4" x 4" and the Watercolor Paper is 5" x 3-3/4". I used the Timeless Label Punch #149516 and some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon #151326. The sentiment is from the Seaside Notions stamp set.

For this card, I used the Rooted In Nature stamp set #146482 and the Seaside Notions set for the sentiment #149278. The leaves were stamped in Black StazOn ink. The sentiment was stamped in Cajun Craze ink. For water coloring, I used Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Merry Merlot. The Cajun Craze card base is 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", the Crushed Curry layer is 5-1/4" x 4" and the Water Color Paper is 5" x 3-3/4". I used some 1/4" Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and colored with a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker. I also used the Timeless Label and Label Me Fancy Punches.
