More Lift Me Up Ideas...
I'm off to Thailand tomorrow morning with my youngest daughter, Samantha, and Stampin'Up! I have some posts scheduled while I'm gone to keep you informed and will post photos when we get home. Not looking forward to a two day flight schedule (both ways), but it's worth the travel to get this great experience. If I can post while I'm there, I'll do that. We also get a copy of the new 2017 Holiday Catalog and I think we'll get a chance to pre-order some items, so I'm looking forward to getting some new things for the Christmas in August event.
Today's projects showcase the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away dies as bottles. I love this look! The first one uses the two sizes of balloon together to make a perfume atomizer. The small one is the perfect size for the squeeze bulb and some 1/8" Gold Ribbon make a perfect little tube. The base of this card uses the retired Delightful Dijon card stock, but you could easily substitute Whisper White, Pink Pirouette or Crushed Curry. The Gold Foil Paper adds a nice, rich gleam to the card (hard to see on the photo - sorry about that).
The next project uses the smaller balloon as a genie bottle - remember I dream of Jeanie? That's immediately what I thought of when I saw that stamp. I used one of the cloud dies to make the smoke coming out of the bottle. I used the retired polka dot embossing folder on the card base, but you could also use the new Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder.
